Ottoville Mutual Telephone Company is a cooperative that is member owned. Established in 1955, the locally owned telephone system with its recent completion of the fiber optic upgrade to its outside plant will provide the members of both Ottoville and Cloverdale the latest up-to-date communication services that can be enjoyed by all. From the humble beginning of the crank system, often referred to as “Hoot & Holler”, to the recent laying of fiber optic cable, Ottoville Mutual Telephone Company has touched the lives of many in the past and will continue to do so in the future.
